I am Zehra Ilyas..i got 10 A*s and 2 As in my olevels..the highest number of A*s in my year..im grateful to Allah for that..apart from that im the captain of the school scrabble team and we won the championship trophy from amongst 76 schools in 2009..i am an active participant in extra curricular activities. I am a consecutive position holder in the naat competitions held annually. I got a distinction in canadian math competition. I got
the 3rd highest marks in my school in kangaroo math competition..i also take part in the annual milad evey year. I got the 3rd position in the interhouse quiz competition. I took part in the interhoue spelling bee competition too as well as declamation contests held by the school. This goes to prove all to well that one must be able to balance one’s extracurricular with the studies and its not to difficult to do so. Being a michaelean also ensured that I did not always think of myself and hence motivated and gave a chance to me to work in many volunteeership organizations like SIUT, darul sakun and the kidney centre.
I have been in saint michaels for 13 years.since nursery and I will be surely coming back here for my alevels..because my experience in this school has been great and I can
today proudly claim to be a high achiever because of what this school made me. I
would also like to mention that since I did not take tuition for any of my school taught subjects all credit goes to my teachers for always helping and guiding me and my
parents for encouraging and motivating me..teachers like sir Sarwar Alam and
ms Durdana are hard to come by. Unlike many others who are repenting to be leaving michaels I am extremely glad that I still have two more years to go..two full years which
im sure are going to be as fruitful and enjoyable as the past 13 years..thankyou
ms naiyer thank you all my teachers and thankyou saintmichaels..im so glad to be a michalean..
