INDEPENDENCE
DAY CELEBRATION
Keeping with the tradition, Independence Day was celebrated with
great enthusiasm at St. Michael’s Convent School.
The stage decorated with fluttering flags, white and green balloons,
colourful streamers and a huge portrait of the Quaid contributed
a lot to create an ambience of freedom. Dressed in the school uniform,
students from X and XI grade commenced the programme by singing
the national anthem and the school song. Following this, the recitation
from the Holy Quran and reading from the Holy Bible added grace
to the occasion. Students from various classes actively participated
in the Independence Day festivities. Impressive speeches and milli
naghmas evoked a spirit of patriotism in all. Presence of the Principal,
Deputy Principal and Incharge Primary Section was a source of encouragement
to all.
All the performances including tableau and Urdu drama revealed
students’ patriotic fervour and sincere passion to serve the
nation.
This year’s celebration surely demonstrated a glimpse into
our student’s creative potential and their sense of discipline.
