St. Michael’s Convent School has more than four hundred graduates situated all around the world. We have graduates who went to top universities, such as MIT, Harvard, Oxford, and many more—and are now working in top firms. We have graduates working in diverse fields such as media, development, banking, bureaucracy, politics, academics, etc.
Having students from various backgrounds and being one of the top schools in Pakistan, St. Michael’s has a proud history of renowned graduates. The aim and vision have always been to provide quality education for all, and it has upheld that vision for 35 years.
Some of our renowned graduates in media are Kumail Nanjiani who is a famous actor, writer, and producer. He did his O-Level from St. Michael’s Convent School and later went to Grinnel College, where he graduated in 2001 with a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy. Nimra Bucha is a famous actress who did her O-Level from St. Michael’s Convent School, later went to Bard College to study drama. Arjumand Rahim another famous actress, director and producer who did her O-Level from St. Michael’s Convent School and then later went to New York Film Academy to direct.
We have graduates who have made their name in cooperate world, like Amyn Malik partner at KPMG. Junaid Iqbal, Managing Director at Careem, and of the youngest CEOs of Pakistan’s financial sector. He was also invited to US President Obama’s 2010 Summit on Entrepreneurship to provide his expertise and is a regular commentator on Pakistan’s economy on TV. Muddasir Sheikha co-founder and CEO of Careem was previously an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. After graduating from St. Michael’s Convent School, he went to Stanford and USC to graduate in Computer Science and Economics.
Jibran Nasir is a Pakistan civil rights activist and a lawyer. He was the creator of the famous #ImagineKashmir campaign. He has his own party and has contested the election twice.
